Edit menu

The Edit menu gives you access to the edit functions specific to all Windows applications. They are always applied to the selected field.

What the options do

Undo (Shortcut Ctrl+Z) - Click to cancel the changes made and go back to the record's initial state. (Umana will reread it from the data base.)

Redo (Shortcut Ctrl+R) - Click to redo the changes you have just cancelled.

Cut (Shortcut Ctrl+X) - Click to erase the selected text and save it to clipboard.

Copy (Shortcut Ctrl+C) - Click to copy the selected text to clipboard.

Paste (Shortcut Ctrl+V) - Click to insert clipboard contents in the selected field.

Clear - Click to erase the selected text without saving it to clipboard.

Select all (Shortcut Ctrl+A) - Click to select the entire text of the selected field.

Find (Shortcut Ctrl+F) - Click to open a dialog box allowing you to search for a word or group of characters.

Find next (Shortcut Ctrl+G) - Click to redo the same search.

Find and replace (Shortcut Ctrl+E) - Click to open a dialog box allowing you to search for a word or group of characters you wish to replace.
