Federal XML Transmitter

Setup of XML transmitter information

1. Top Menu > Tools > Export
2. Select the report (T4 XML, T4A XML, etc.)
3. Click the Modify button on top of the export selection window.
   This opens the export modification window.
4. In the Export modification window, click Parameters.
   This opens a details window where you can fill in the default information.

The T4 and T4A XML parameter screens are fairly straight forward requiring:

• the first line identifies the tax slip i.e. T4 or T4A
• the second line contains the code .T.
• the third line contains contact name
• the fourth line contains contact email
• the fifth line contains transmitter type which is always 3
• the last line contains the web access code which is emailed to you by Revenue Canada
