Overview

The Options module defines the application's configuration options.

• The common term for options is settings these days.
• These options apply to all Umana system users.
• Indiviual user preferences are in the preferences window.

The application's configuration options are saved in the NCONFIG database table.

Entering options

To access the Options input screen:

• Left-menu bar > Administration > Options

Configuration options are organized by category, in the same way as the modules.

When you change an option, the new values take effect on your workstation immediately. For other users, however, most options will only take effect when the user restarts Umana.
