JOBCAT table - JOB category

The JOB CATEGORY offers a mechanism to group similar classes or types of jobs.

Every JOB is assigned a JOBCAT (category) from this table. That category is copied to the employee's JOBHIST and PERS record when the job is assigned.

The JOBCAT can be used in rates (part of the RATE key) and other selection rules.
