TBL: SENCAT - Seniority category
The SENCAT table lists different seniority categories (totals) that a single employee can have.
In most companies, each employee has one seniority.
- If that is your case, just use the one DEFAULT category
In some companies, certain employees might accumulate seniority in more than one category
- This table specifies what those categories are.
Examples
- Seniority at different trades, plus seniority as general labourer
- Seniority by union
Filtering hours worked
- For each SENCAT you can filter hours worked (TIMEDT) by JOB, JOBCAT, ENTITY1, LOCN
- So if you want to filter by UNION (not a field in TIMETD), you will need to actually filter by JOBs in that union.
