Overview
The Benefits module manages employee benefits – insurance, pension plans, union dues, charitable contributions, car allocations, garnishments. Basically, it can handle essentially anything that has an employee contribution and/or an employer contribution.
Withholdings and remittances are calculated and sent to the Payroll module. Dates and eligibility rules will be applied automatically, with a notice to the people affected.
Data
The management of benefits and deductions involves three submodules:
- Plans: Benefits – The benefit plans available and their associated rules and calculations.
- Benefits (Enrollments) – Employee enrollments in the various plans, with history
- Dependants – Employee dependants

To access the Benefits input screen:
